Long time client Lori has lived on Mercer Island for many years, and loves the pampering she receives at Au Courant. She is married to Mike, an attorney, and is the mother of thirteen year old Hannah.

Lori is the owner of a rare bookstore in downtown Seattle. Thanks to her reliable staff, Lori is able to work part-time and volunteer at Hannah’s school.

When not busy with the bookstore, her daughter’s activities (or volunteering for the Seattle Symphony,) Lori and her family love to travel – France in the summer and Hawaii in the winter. To keep stress at bay, Lori attends a hot yoga class three times a week and indulges in her passion of chocolate (dark is the best).

Since high school, Rhoda has been Lori’s best friend and confidante. Rhoda often travels from her home in La Conner to Mercer Island, where she and Lori have a fabulous time taking long lunches and hunting for the latest fashion trends and unique gift items.

Lori and Rhoda both adore Au Courant. Lori receives custom color treatments (notice the golden highlights) as well as monthly hair styling. They often come in together for complete nail and skin care treatments and indulge in one-hour massages.

Ah, life is wonderful at Au Courant. The two friends always leave the salon feeling revived and empowered.
